Issues of the Heart

Ever really sit back and wonder “what the hell is wrong with me... I’m a good person with a hell of a good heart... why do I constantly catch the short end of the stick”? Annnnnd by short end of the stick I mean, giving the best of you and only receiving 65% of the next person, failed relationships because of false hope and expectations, being in secretive relationships, settling with just being the “other” person because you know it just won’t work anyway... What emotions arise when this happens? Is It defeat or is It the willpower to continue on the journey of love?

At some point in life we’ve really questioned ourselves..... we’ve felt low and we’ve felt helpless. At the point of just feeling low of low, if you’re like me, you began to slowly push away from society.... everybody else seems happy right and you’re the only one that has a stomach of vomit ready each night.... so what’s the real issue??

.....if you can be perfectly honest with yourself, the issue is that WE WANT LOVE! Love that is patient. Love that is kind. Love that is persistent. Love that is consistent. Love that won’t break us down. Love that won’t brick us up. Love that won’t fence us in. Love that we don’t have to share. Love that we don’t have to hide because of who’s watching. A LOVE that will remain. A LOVE that can match ours....

Now some “deep precious lamb of God” would say the only love you will ever find like that is Jesus... and for once I have to agree.. most of our problems is we run from the one who can give us those things so that the RIGHT love can find us... I’m a firm believer that if you stay rooted and grounded in God everything else will fall in place.... BUT you can’t settle for being someone’s 50%.. you can’t taint yourself... you can’t be the “other” woman/man... you can’t just be someone’s sex partner. You have to get alone and get intimate with God. It will hurt to leave but are you really ok with living a life of wanting love vs leaving and finding your peace to gain love... most will read this and say they’re going to find their peace but then they’ll do the exact opposite but then again It is the ISSUES OF THE HEART ‼️ Cut the root. Find God. Get intimate with him. Love of him. Everything else will come. It’s NOT too late

The problem about expectations is u know that they lead to disappointments but u still expect anyways. I guess i always expect the best in people which is not a bad thing, but the truth is people are forever changing & they want many chances that they don't deserve. u may tell yourself u not expecting anything from anyone but there usually is that little expectation u waiting upon from someone close to your heart.
