   being trans and being a vocalist sucks a lot but i have come to a spot where it sucks. a lot less than it used. like i just covered after the bombs and put effort into my technique and i feel. much less restless. since i have classical training and was trained for. a good handful of years before starting t i’m able to recognize things that call back to my old voice and things that don’t and things that feel good in the same way and things that don’t and i can also hear that. very specific sort of sound that a lot of people who went through estrogen based puberty and then testosterone based puberty have to their voices. it’s not something i can generally hear in my speaking voice but it comes through in my singing sometimes, apparently. anyways. i talk a lot about the inherent difficulties of transness and i am very jealous of people who have gotten access to things in less time than me. but sometimes things are Good and i just wanna appreciate those when they come

I truly, truly do not understand the general anime community's dislike and/or fear of original characters. I've posted about it before but...it genuinely baffles me.

As someone who also comes from the ttrpg scene - whose bread and butter is ocs - its so strange to watch people have such strong opinions about something so irrelevant.
