my schools having this like, winter holiday week thing right now? and i think theyre trying to be supportive and inclusive of different holidays that aren’t christmas which is nice and all but i simply CANT get over the fact that today was “hanukkah day”. the literal DAY after hanukkah ended they decided to celebrate hanukkah……… im just.

#they had literally ALL of last week to do smth hanukkah related pls im—#they put it on the announcements but the thing is someone must’ve explained to them that they got the timing wrong #so about ten minutes later they came back on the announcements and told us yes they KNOW hanukkah was yesterday however they’re celebrating #it today #oh fun fact all the teachers had to wear these blue and white antennae headbands #and at the end of the antennae there were like. dreidels and menorahs and stuff #avery rambles
