Sometimes I think part of the reason Merlin was so against Mordred in the later seasons was jealousy.

Mordred was another dark hair little magic boy Arthur took a liking too.

But Mordred got to be more open. They knew he was a druid. They knew he used to be with Morgana he didn't have to pretend to believe something he didn't.

While Arthur and Merlin's relationship always had a status block. Arthur was always a little mean to Merlin and by his rights to order him about.

But Mordred.... Mordred was a knight. Just on fighting skills alone he earned Arthur's respect in a way Merlin never could.

I mean the puddles were bad enough but I saw next to nothing thanks to the rain on my glasses. I don't really want to run without them cause I get dizzy. Please don't tell me I have to wear contact lenses 😭 Is there any way to run with glasses in the rain and still see things?
