Grumpier today than I'd like

#I did the vast majority of my weekend chores yesterday so I could take today for myself #only big item on my list for today was making bagels with the wife which is normally a highlight of the weekend #I love doing that together #but I used a different starter than normal and the dough didn't really come together right #plus the kitchen was super crowded while we were trying to work on them #like the folks just seemed to have no self awareness that we were using that space #it was loud #the bagels turned out flat and weird #I might go back to the store and just get store bought bagels for the week #I don't know I want my mood to recover I want to have a good day #I want to go to the park maybe #I need to shower before bed and maybe I'll take that time to redye my hair #it's so horrifically overdue #I should check my tire pressure because we've had a lot of temperature fluctuations lately #we have some strawberries I'm excited to get into #I don't know #the back half of the day can still be good #but I have to choose it I can't just coast in this grumpy space #gah #I get so dysphoric when I feel grumpy and *act* grumpy #I just shut down and lose the ability to use my words and get so passive aggressive #and it reminds me of my father #I want to feel like me today #whatever that means #I still can

And then i proceeded to do her shot faster than I ever have before, and then promptly crossed the room to the sharps container before she let rip.
