I have a feeling that Wenzhou's words meant more to Fei Du than anything and being able to share his mother's story was so important. He can't properly express how he feels, it cripples him still but I think he knows he's safe now and all of that will come in time.

Sorry I'm rambling this broke me completely. I just love them a lot and the complex layers to their relationship.
