Cats are invasive and destructive. Anyone who is having trouble with a cat in their yard is well within their rights to deal with it. If you somehow think a person defending their livestock or keeping songbirds from constantly turning up dead on their porch is cruel, you're too ignorant and naive to own a cat at all.

If you love your cat, keep it indoors. Stop being careless and stupid. Take care of what you own and stop making it your neighbors' problem.
