The Puppetmaster exists as an episode solely because they tried to get the rights to do Avenue Q and by the time they found out they couldn’t, they’d already had the puppets made. I swear there is no other explanation.

Rise

I was finally able to watch the first episode. I don’t know what to think. They have blatantly stolen story lines from Glee (teacher taking over the theatre department, recruitment of the star quarterback, a bully coach, rival lead female vocalists...). It deals with real life issues, but unlike Glee, there is no comedy to be found. It strikes me as heavy for a musical show. I don’t know if I like it or not. I’m going to watch a couple more episodes and then decide. 

Rosie Perez is awesome in it, and I wish they’d use Shannon Purser more.

Watching the first season of Glee (again)...

This show had so much promise, then I realized how badly they fucked over, all of the characters except: Rachel Berry and Finn Hudson. The torture I go through to see Santana Lopez on my screen.

I still can’t believe they did an Abba song in the Glee finale and it wasn’t Thank You For the Music.
