i'm thinking about early mtmte cygate and. it's a lot. cyclonus looking over at the happy couple and at how many people were worried about rewind and care about rewind and realizing she's been nothing but rude to someone who, yeah, is really annoying and can't take a hint, but still tried to befriend her, still wanted to connect with her, someone who feels out of place too, who wants someone she recognizes from her own time, who is probably the only person on the ship who gives a damn about her and just wordlessly walking over and helping her pick up the broken glass and she knew this whole time tailgate was lying and not only never said a thing but embarrassed herself in public to help her keep her secret! and comforted her and tried to cheer her up by sharing something that made her happy. i love cyclonus and her character arc and relationship with tailgate
