Abel referring to Cain as "[Adam's] braver son" is... something. You know, Cain? The guy who murdered him? The man who should by all rights be in Hell as the first Sinner outside of Lilith and Eve?
Is this something Abel came up with himself or was Adam even worse to him than I imagined he was?
I know we don't know the extent of Ash's loyalty spell (him and Dru seem to be at odds often, even despite the heavy implication that she IS under the spell) but I wonder if them not getting along means Kit does have an aversion to said spell 🤨🤨
Uhhh wip idk when I'll finish
Y’all remember as a kid going shopping for groceries with your parents and when you’d browse for snacks and toys and stuff, they’d be like ’NO WE’RE NOT GETTING THAT’
And even when you wanted everything you’d be like, “I’M JUST LOOKING“
Well this is me just looking
also i just read the bit about lergen's "diplomatic mission" and im kind of flabbergasted (positive)
genuinely such a good way to portray the fundamental problem with the empire, like it suddenly makes perfect sense why they're so glaringly horrible at diplomacy despite not inherently being any more regressive or nationalistic than any of the other great powers; in fact they're weirdly progressive in some areas (if only for utilitarian reasons)
and that doesn't matter because there's a fundamental structural and memetic flaw in the entire nation-apparatus that just. utterly fucked them over. that was also crucial in its original foundation
it was always going to end this way
