There might not be anything more upsetting than seeing an organisation you worked at for six years and loved and really believed in the cause of completely fall apart under new, shitty management. 

Like, fuck, they’ve gone from 11 staff while I was there to 2 in the last 18 months, and they’ve burnt so many people I know in the industry and ruined so many partnerships and professional relationships that I’d helped form and build in my time there, and I’m just...really sad about it.

they have some good food recipes and ideas featured in it but god the bon appetit magazine is so fucking annoying. the general tone is this mix of condescension and privilege with that prideful self degradation (the "look at how charming i am in my dysfunctionality" schtick) and it really feels like im reading a sorority's editorial rather than a food magazine. like i don't give a fuck about your editors skincare routine why are you putting an entire page of that into your FOOD magazine. i don't care about you or your life or your voice or how quirky you are for hating the establishment i care about the food.
