Usagi admits that Ami’s right, but also says that if it wasn’t real then that makes it even worse, and then WE SIT HERE. Neither of them know what to say, so nobody says anything at all, until Usagi mutters about getting water and runs out the room.

How do they fix this? I DON’T KNOW BUT THEY DIDN’T IN THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES AND I’M DELIGHTED. I don’t want to get my hopes up too badly, but god, I hope this stretches out, at least for a little while, where Usagi has to learn that sometimes friendship takes work, and Ami has to learn it maybe doesn’t always take quiiite so much work. But it’s not solved yet, all nicely tied up with a ribbon, and I’m so happy to have this painful, awkward, quiet moment, thank you, PGSM, thank you.
