Took Rogue in to the vet this morning because his asthma has been acting up more than usual (then we stopped and said hi to my s/o while he was on his lunch break–where I took the photo). Luckily he doesn’t have to go on an inhaler but he will need daily medication until about spring and then only for his flare ups. Grateful it isn’t worse because asthma treatments can get expensive and he’s already on special prescription food for his genetic UTI issues that we’ve been to the vet twice in a year for already 😧 But I’ve been adamant on making sure he sticks to his diet–no treats unless they’re cranberry based and no people food–and it seems we have that under control at least. Hopefully his medication helps with his asthma attacks and we can get my boy feeling like himself again.

He came home Friday morning. Still keeping an eye on him and giving him his antibiotics but Rogue is doing good. First thing he did when he got home was demand water from the faucet in the bathroom and cuddles and then as I wrapped presents he claimed bags as his own. So happy to have him home 💖💖

Someone will most likely die tonight. I have a good guess who. But it was worth it.
