The fact that book Bonnie:
- meets book Damon first, before anyone else (he saves her life, does her homework, kisses her, drives her home and makes her forget)
- is the very first person book Stefan interracts with at school (Mr. Tanner bullies her and Stefan intervenes to help her)
But for the show Stefan and Damon she is nothing more than "We need a favour from you, Bonnie/We need Bonnie's spells/Elena needs Bonnie" like...
so many people don't even care about cass... so few people even care about her actual relationships with other characters as depicted in comics. so many people warp them into something unrecognizable.
Hey Gaz, have you ever once wore Dib's glasses?
Never knew this is what it feels like to be a Dib.
Which bundle from the EA Sping Sale would you get? (they are 39,99 €)
Dream decor bundle (cottage living, dream decor and tiny living)
Pet love bundle (pets, parent living, my first pet stuff)
Every day live bundle (seasons, parent living, laundry stuff)
I have a slight preference and one I probably wouldn't get but I wanna here your opinions ;)
okay. parallel between how Eleanor viewed her relationship with Rogers and, more specifically, her dedication to never betraying him, as cleansing of the past betrayals she committed in the interest of her ambitions and how Silver successfully got Flint to think of him as the potential “latest in a line of ill-fated partners,” which made him especially determined not to do Silver any harm even when Silver betrayed him (and the cause) first and then tried to kill him.
it’s not that Eleanor didn’t love Rogers or that Flint didn’t love Silver (for better or for worse), but just that their both seeing their partners not as people but as “he could fix me” solutions to the sins of their past clouded the reality of these relationships for them and caused them to believe in something that simply wasn’t there, to their detriment.
Death Note could've made Light an evil genius™ with no connections even to his own family, willing to let them die if the plan requires it, simply too isolated from the rest of humanity to feel anything for them...
but instead allowed him to have completely normal, warm interactions with his family and made it clear several times that he loves them dearly
AND there are still people coming out of consuming Death Note and not understanding that
