My bestie and I were watching KPDH together and when we reached Your Idol we both went WAIT THAT'S LITERALLY THE VILLAIN OF OUR STORY and when Rumi talked with Gwi-Ma we again both went THAT'S DANN AND THE VILLAIN so of course I had to redraw one of the iconic poses with said villain!!!

So!! Introducing Light (he/him) :) he's the god of (you guessed it) light and the main villain of our shared story!! I could say a lot about him, but let just say that if he fell from his ego, he'd die of starvation before reaching the ground lmao. Mini Comic/ Post-Frozen: the Musical Sketch Dump

So, I think I've literally been drawing since like 2 pm?

It's 2 AMish my time now.

But, this is a sketch dump based on something that both has happened and will happen later in my fics ... it's complicated?

Has happened in the sense that this happens pre-series, but will happen in the sense that this is a muddy memory for both Cedric and Roland and something occurs to cause Roland to meet Elsa, as both his times like 12 great-aunt and the 5th Spirit of Arendelle which allows him direct access to this memory as it happened ...

(My God my hand hurts ...)

However, I was determined to finish this project. I wanted to complete SOMETHING.

So, I did. I finished something.

It took me 12 hours. But, I finished something!

This is based expression for expression on the recording of "I Can't Lose You" (and some of the surrounding scene work) from the recording of Frozen: The Musical from Disney+.

So, if you want the lyrics/ to check my work & see my inspiration - you can go watch the scene in the musical where this happens.

I made some minor dialogue / lyric changes, notably, instead of saying Anna's "You look so at peace/ which I did not expect after what all too place."

Instead, Cedric says: "You're PRETENDING at peace. // Which, um, NO ONE expects after what all took place."

Then, the post-song dialogue is as follows:

Roland: Goodbye, Cedric.

Cedric: What? Goodbye? NO!

Roland: You'll never lose me, but you must leave now.

Cedric: But, what about your ...

Roland: I'm sure Baileywick is fine, for now.

Cedric: Fine! But, can you at least tell me why you're out here?

Roland: Why?

Cedric: Because, we were close once?

Roland: I know ...

Cedric: Look, I may not understand ... *exactly*

Beauties and Gentlebeauties I give you my version of what caused the rift between these two to occur ... a WHOPPING misunderstanding caused by bad communication and worse parenting on the part of their dads.

Truly an Elsa and Anna situation that lead to a frozen heart curse that is very similar to the one written about by Hans Christian Andersen instead of the one from Frozen ...

However, the original Frozen style one is still in play even after Sofia "fixes" the Hans Christian Andersen style one, but Cedric refuses to talk about it because he thinks that's *checks notes* taking responsibility for his actions?

Even though *checks notes again* not talking about it is how he got to where he got in the first place?????

Cedric is a SLOW learner ...

I love him but he's a dumb dumb when it comes to feelings.

Anyway, this was fun. Painful. But, fun.
