I saw the ship thing! Personally, I really adore LiechPan (Liechtenstein x Japan), PortPan (Portugal x Japan), and ItaBela (Italy x Belarus). There's probably more rarepairs/ships I can think of but those three just have special places in my heart.
I will be honest, I never thought about LiechPan... I think that in terms of aesthetic, Liechtenstein and Nyotalia Japan would look nice together. Would you like to share more of your thoughts?
About PortPan... I think it has a lot of potential, in terms of history accuracy... They would be on a bitter sweet ending... ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Ohh.... The drama!!! Maybe this is thanks to reading Maaf 💕
Itabela 🤔 I had read some Fanfictions about them and loved how they sweet are characterize... I think it's a ship that works specifically because of their character' development 😉

I read a fic with these two once.
I have been thinking a lot about my ItaBela fanfic that I am writing again, and then the hate ItaBela gets as a ship.
It makes sense when you take their original characterizations and dull them down to nothing but a happy, go-lucky womanizer and then a brother-obsessed, knife wielding lunatic.
However, I don't see them that way~ Italy in my mind is extremely intelligent (I mean the man had some of the smartest people come from his nation), loyal, and kind! But not kind in the way of being a pushover, kind in the way of being someone who knows when to speak the truth and put it gently. Don't get me wrong, he will definitely snap at someone for being stupid or rude. He also really enjoys expensive things and loves the arts, though he is terrible at pottery, Romano is better at that!
With Belarus, in my mind, she isn't love obsessed with her brother. She has separation anxiety (so does Italy but more severe). She also has major trust issues and really only trusts her brother and sister, even then she sometimes has a hard time trusting them. Yes, she is an expert with throwing knives. Yes she threatens people and such, but for Belarus, that is her defense mechanism after such a hard life. She enjoys things others wouldn't expect, like photography and cute things.
Both of these characters are definitely based more off personal headcanons than canon, at least from what I know of canon! But, I like them that way! I feel it adds more depth to their character, and that's one reason I love reading other's headcanons!
I'm reaching out to people from Portugal! I am writing a Hetalia comedy-romance fanfiction that takes place in Portugal, and the next chapter will be taking place during the Feiras Novas festival! So, if anyone wants to share some good things to know about the festival or Portuguese culture in general, I would love it! I really want to try and get things right!
I am really craving more ItaBela (N. Italy x Belarus)! Just writing my fanfiction is not enough- 😭

The next chapter is done for my ItaBela fic: Love Smells Like a Coffee Shop!
This one is a shorter chapter, but I am on family vacation this week, so I did not have much time to write. However, the next chapter should be longer once I get back! I am also working on the next chapter for "Shameless Immortality". That one will probably be longer!
Here is a sneak peek into chapter five of "Love Smells Like a Coffee Shop"-
Even with that thought running through his head, Felicano just felt like something was going to go terribly wrong.
