Laugh: A drabble (main or AU) about our characters laughing about something.
-— [ ♛ ] - Idly browsing the textbook propped up in front of him, bouncing back and forth thinking how unbelievably dry it all was, Itachi sighed. Even with finals in just a few days, the library was actually rather empty, and eerily quiet, excluding himself and his study partner.
Thumbing through the next couple of pages, not paying much attention to the points he’d already memorized, a strange noise broke his concentration. The blonde sitting across from him had started snickering; as if she suddenly found something chuckle worthy while studying.
“What’s so funny?”
The question had Roraku looking back at him, pressing a hand to her cheek. She flipped her own book around and pointed to the phrase that had her laughing, a legal term that didn’t exactly mean how it sounded.
“… It says penal.”
Cue the weary sigh. Itachi just stared at her, clearly not finding the humor in it.
“What are you, five?”
“… Maybe.” Right after catching her breath, Roraku smirked and then shrugged in reply. “It keeps me young.”
