🚄 I was going home from another city by train. 👨🏭 The conductor arrived and he asked me for my ticket. I showed it to him quietly. He looked at me and he said: ‘This ticket is not validated.’ 👀 I looked at him doubtfully. It was because I wasn’t sure I understood what he said. I was certain I bought my ticket, so what could go wrong? At that time I didn’t speak Italian well and actually this fact saved me :D I said: ‘Non capisco.’ (I don’t understand). 👉 He showed me the backside of the ticket where there is written in English too that the tickets must be validated. Oops… I tried to explain to him that I didn’t know that and I had no idea how to validate the ticket. I said sorry. He understood me somehow and he also said something, but I didn’t understand. The story finished with a happy ending. He went away and I think he added that it mustn’t be repeated. See?
