Red Ink was never abandoned, it was on hiatus as my life faced a series of challenges.

I'm making good progress now to finish the story.

It was simply a masterpiece. I have a whole rating system and it only goes to 10 but it is definitely an 11. I cannot get over how you thought about everything? There were no stings left. You thought of everything!!!

are you planning on writing another longer H x H fic?

At this point, I don't have any plans for another long HHr fic. I sort of did what I wanted to do with the pairing in ITFOD and I'm content with how it ended. Right now I'm focused on some other projects and I still need to wrap up Red Ink. I don't really have any other ideas for the two of them because of the way I view their relationship, so I'm not sure what I would write about.

That said, never say never. Maybe some day I will either add a small follow-up story to the ITFOD world, draft a one-shot, or write something completely new with HHr. But that won't be any time soon.

Did you have a "fan cast" or head canon for what Nasir looks like? I devoured ITFOD and the two epilogues over the last week and I was reading I was picturing Keon Alexander (Iranian-Canadian actor from "The Expanse") so I wondered if you had anyone specific in mind.

This is such a great question!

When I wrote Nasir, I had an image in my head, but I couldn't find anyone who looked like what I was picturing. Since then, several people have shared their versions of Nasir with me and it has been so cool to see! I did eventually find someone who sort of kind of (but also not really) looks like what I was thinking hahaha. I'll share them all below:

So Keon Alexander was also mentioned by someone else! - specifically: picture.

Oded Fehr (specially from the mummy) - picture.

Ajay Devgn - picture.

Naveen Andrews - picture.

Then there were two models referenced that I don't know the names of but these are the pictures: here and here.

Then later I found this model, and joked that his Halloween costume was 'Battle Nasir' lolol - here.

Someone also made a picture, but I'm not sure how to share it - I'll see if I can figure this out...

Loving the epilogue. I'm laid up this week with back spasm so it's something nice to look forward to in the evening when new chapters go up! Can't wait for the last three parts!
