My peers (used in this context as persons in the same age bracket) are the featured persons in the third batch of my 16 iThanks. They are the ones whom I see everyday and those who keep me going.
The class that dominates, the class that wishes to chart its own destiny. To my classmates, Wisdom Olympians, thank you for always being supportive and caring. I know that we are halfway through our last year, but there is still more time for us to weave the good memories. We have started. Now, we just have to create more. Lots of things are yet to happen to us. More happy and sad events are about to occur, and challenges are inevitable. Still, one thing that I am sure of is that Wisdominion will always be the best in its own right. We may have many imperfections, but I believe that the positive things we have shared and will share together will outweigh all them.
7.) Pax Et Bonum (PEB)
To the place where I grew up, to the place where I found my purpose, thank you for being my strength. Because of the PEB, I have found myself in the service of the community, and without PEB, I am nowhere.
I would never forget all the things we have done, all the moments that will remain in my heart and my mind for a long time. From Batch 2012, Batch 2013 and to my current batch, Batch 2014, I have continued to learn what it really means to be a campus journalist.
Special note to Batch 2014: Thank you for showing your never-ending support. To my co-editors, Alexis, Coleen, Roi, Baron, Nicole and Anne, thank you for being understanding of my actions. I hope that we could really fulfill our real mission to serve. To all the staffers, thank you for taking the time and extra effort to show what you've got. Believe it or not, all of you have a special contribution, and these are the things that continue to make the PEB a special group. We are not here for nothing. We are members of the PEB because each of us is believed to have something good to offer to the school. Just remember that the keyword is always “service.”
6.) FunHaus
To Patrick, Martin, Roi, Lennon, Jerico and Gian, thank you for always making me smile. I really appreciate those moments when we suddenly break into serious laughter. To be honest, most jokes coming from you have a great impact on me, and that is a good note, considering the fact that I am serious most of the time. I am also thankful because you understand me, whatever I do. Whenever I am happy, you are there to join me. Whenever I am down, you are there to cheer me up. I may not be that attendant of all our lakads, but I am still thankful that you are still there to amaze me with your stories. Your support is something I will always be happy for. I would never hesitate saying this because you all are real people. I am forever grateful that you all entered in my life to bring nothing but fun.
5.) My little brother
Even if I do not tell his name, he, himself will know that it is him whom I am talking to. He is one angel, no doubt about it. When it comes to thoughtfulness, kindness, and concern, he is first. He is undeniably intelligent, and very talented. I will just have to admit that when it comes to looks, I am…one step ahead (#JUSTKidding Biro lang, huwag kang magalit. :D).
Kidding aside, he is one person whom I have considered as my adoptive brother because we could have been similar, in a way or two, in how we love our own respective families.
Before I turn 16, I would like to thank him for being the best brother I could ever have. He has been there in all my endeavors, and I am thankful that he never failed to show his appreciation. I am also thankful that I have met such a talented person like him. I wish that he would continue what he does best, and never stop loving those who are close to him. I also hope that he will keep on being an open-minded and understanding brother, so that we will become closer as time goes by. I know he will. He is smart, after all, and he will be the first one to understand. And, I promise to fulfill my responsibility as an elder brother to him, someone who will always support and stand up for him.
In the second batch of my 16 iThanks, I would like to express my gratitude to the community I have come to live with for the last 11 years. On my last birthday with this institution, I would like to say a few words about them. It's also my opportunity to say "thank you."
12.) LSQC Community
For the eleven long years, I thank this institution that I have come to grow up with, to live with and to learn with. Because of LSQC, I have learned and excelled a lot; but most of all, the values that LSQC instilled in me are incomparable. In my long stay here, I can say that LSQC has its own trademark that only its students can show and live up to. The way it molds its students is something that should be appreciated because more than anything, its mission-vision is its main priority.
Of course, I can’t forget the teachers and students whom I have come to know and work with. After all, it’s them who complete LSQC. Without them, my personal learning experience will never be possible.

[I have decided not to name her for some personal reasons.]
If my memory is not mistaken, she is the first person to help me turn my dream of studying come true. I mean, I'm not rich, and if were not for her efforts, I would have not existed in the world of LSQC. We first met each other when I was in Grade 2. I knew of our family situation, back then, as well as our financial struggles. So, when she learned of this, she did not hesitate to help us.
Now, she is enjoying a happy life abroad, but I get to see her once in a while in Facebook. I can’t message her because I did not get the chance, but I just want to thank her for all the help she has given me. Because of her taking the first step, as well as those important people who followed, I was able to study in a good school, and to hone my skills and values.
10.) Miss Emie, Sir John and Miss Thytz
They are three of the many teachers whom I will remember the most. :)
Mrs. Emilia Vicente was my Grade 5 adviser and Language Arts teacher. Mr. Pacifico dela Cruz III was my Grade 6 adviser and Math teacher. Mrs. Tita Monfero (known before as Ms. Tita Tomol) was my Values Education teacher in Grade 5.
These three teachers are the ones who understood me the most. It’s not just because spent one fruitful school year with them, but also, I know that they knew me inside and out, including my strengths and weaknesses. I had no trouble communicating with them because they had no prejudice. Of course, they are wise, no doubt about it. :)
I am grateful for having been under their tutelage because even before High School, they were the ones who formed me into the best person I could be.
Unfortunately, they are not in LSQC anymore, but despite this, I still hope to see them in the near future.
9.) Sir Marvin
How could I forget my current class adviser, English teacher-slash-coordinator, and publications adviser? He has been an epitome (WOW, BIG WORD! :D) of wisdom and excellence, no wonder I’m forever grateful to be under his mentorship.
When I first entered Pax Et Bonum (PEB) in 2011, I admitted that I felt overwhelmed upon seeing Sir Marvin in the final interview. How he asked me the fiercest questions were just a portion of his straightforward, yet honest personality.
When I got to know him a little better, that’s when I found out that Sir Marvin also has his cheerful side. I would always be interested in his stories, and would always tag along during eat-outs. Also, it was Sir Marvin who molded me to strengthen my skill in campus journalism and leadership. Most of all, Sir Marvin is a person whom I am not [that] afraid to open up with, making him a father figure. [Naks! :)]
I am thankful for Sir Marvin’s presence in my life as a listener, trainer, teacher, father, confidant, counselor, lahat lahat na. He is the person who helped me achieve such success in my high school life.
