Yusuke stood within their home, not even a year wedded, and it seems he’s already brought a few complications on their doorstep. For the most part, Yusuke was a mess, blood stained his face, patches of it over his clothes, which suggests he’s sustained a lot of damage. However, one glance down and she would see a little one, probably not any younger than five seen clutching at his pants leg. A little girl who then buried herself against Yusuke’s leg, scared for her life.  ❝   𝐎𝐤𝐚𝐲..𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞.   ❞ Was what he said in a way to soften the blow of the realization…granted, having said that it made things all the more suspicious. As if he were to tell her that this is his 𝙇𝙊𝙉𝙂 𝙇𝙊𝙎𝙏 love child. “So we might have gotten into a little bit of problems.” Most likely a supernatural gang war on the uprising.

He'd frequented this particular port enough as the Commander of the Second Division under White Beard to know who the locals were and who, like him, came here often. It was small enough that not many ended up here as passer-throughs, preferring the larger port on the other side of the island. So if newcomers came through they were most often pirates or on the run.

Settling into his normal seat he grinned when the bartender asked if he wanted the usual, giving a polite nod as his crewmates spread out throughout the bar. "Been a bit since we made dock so the guys are thirsty."

Leaning back in his chair he relaxed, eyes closing for a moment before opening and scanning the area, spotting the stranger almost instantly. Typically that wouldn't have kept his attention for long, but there was something about her, a sense that had him assessing her more closely. Thanking the tender when his drink was delivered and taking a healthy gulp before turning his attention away. Staring wasn't polite and as long as she didn't cause trouble then he didn't care who she was or why she was here......but he still had a feeling he'd seen her face before. Maybe a bounty?

He grumbled almost childishly when she made him pull back, his body a little more shaky than his usual ‘when did Q last think to eat’ issues. The rather uncomfortable temperature of his forehead seemed to concur. “You’ll come home with me..? Our home.” He nodded sleepily, one hand coming up to rub at his eye.

"I was trying to drink in peace." He muttered to himself when he spotted the familiar burning curls of the woman who had claimed the seat at his side. The last time he'd run into her she'd nearly given him a heart attack when she showed him her healing abilities. Mainly because she'd not bothered warning him before slicing her hand open as if it was butter. "How do you keep running into us?"

"I know you can." He tells her, and he means it. He's seen her in battle, he's seen fight and track and really, she is terrifying when she wants to be. And yet...

"I won't say I like doing it myself." He admits. Because really, it's not pleasant work. "But these are my plans, and my goals too, and it's only fair."

He has no intention of sitting back and just barking orders, not when it's his life on the line. Not when it would feel like taking advantage of her.

And then, to bring back some levity to the situation, he offers her a small smile: "Let me keep some of my pride intact, Shiloh."

"Sanji." He said warmly even as he expertly tossed the fried rice that he was currently cooking up. Adding a few more spices and then flipping the fluffy concoction a few more times to evenly space the flavoring out before turning and dumping it all into a bowl. Flicking off the stove he placed the pan back down to cool before placing the bowl in front of her with a spoon. "Here you go, Robin said you look like you haven't eaten in a while so enjoy."

Shifting to lean against the counter, taking a small break before cleaning up the kitchen he added. "I'm glad we found you when we did, that looked like a nasty shipwreck."

What a fucking moron this woman was! Who would actually save a bratty kid from a collapsing building by running headfirst into it and then not even having a plan for how to safely get out of the damned thing?! He would— but there was the difference in him being an oni who could handle impact and her being a fragile human who'd likely die on friggen impact! Not to mention, he had regenerative abilities. Even if he did break a few bones, he'd heal in a jiffy using those healing perks he had from not being human.

His elongated teeth bared as he clicked his tongue, and the scarlet haired boy glared down at the woman in his arms with his light brown eyes (also inadvertently scaring the kid she was holding flush against her body). Souta had drawn out his abilities a bit to actually make it to her in time— not that he'd say out loud that he did it for her sake (after all, it would be his problem if she and the brat got hurt in the end).

As tempted as he was to hit her head with a closed fist of irritation, he couldn't do that while he was holding her. Instead, his arms positioned under her knees and around her back tensed to keep her held securely against his body. He slightly dug his nails into her back unconsciously—the act being a warning about the upcoming reprimand, ❝ What kinda idiot are you?! ❞ he yelled at her, blatantly ignoring the kid as he really didn't know how to handle dealing with their presence, ❝ humans can't survive shit like that! Think before you try doing stupid stuff like saving bystanders! You and the brat would've died if I hadn't caught you! ❞

He'd tried everything he could think of, walking faster, taking sudden turns, breaking into a sprint. Hell, he'd even gone into a bathroom and climbed out the window. She'd still found him. Which had lead to his current sprint through the streets once more as he tried to shake her with him yelling over his shoulder. "Who the hell even are you!?"
