Hi! I saw you reblog the John Rich post wanting new chapters (right there with you 😭😭😭). While I can't provide that, I did want to suggest you check out Check Please by the same author (Ngozi) if you haven't. It's a webcomic (now published) gay hockey romance, so if you're not familiar it may be relevant to your interests 👀

Oh yeah, I've read it before and absolutely love it!! It has been a couple years tho, so I'm for sure due for a reread, especially before we get year 5!

But yeah, that Is kinda what brought me to it. I was just a little late to the party. Then again, I'm glad I had at least 12 ch. to read! But now this Cliff hanger with Shawn is going to be hard to deal with till the next chapter.

Hi! For the non stop music recs, I recently got into Brandi Carlile and I am obsessed. Raise Hell makes me want to fight people and The Story makes me cry every time.

I’m also a huge fan of “Have You Ever” and ESPECIALLY “Fire Watcher’s Daughter,” which is another one to put you in a badass mood, if in a somewhat darker way.

Since I’ve been involved in a production recently, the soundtrack to The Addams Family has by necessity kind of been on repeat. The best song in the show is definitely Move Toward the Darkness so I will link that one. Even if no one takes it at a tempo I approve of.

Tell me a sweet story, please:)

One time I was hired to play the violin while a man proposed to his girlfriend.

Apparently it was one of their dreams as a couple to go to Austria and hear the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in concert, but they couldn’t afford it, so instead they took a day trip up to a town near mine for reasons somewhat related to that and he called up a local who was some kind of distant cousin of his asking about musicians and got my name!

And honestly it was one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. She thought they were just having a picnic by this little lovely spring and was really delighted when I was there to play some mood music for them, and I didn’t hear the little speech he gave her while he was proposing, but they were both crying and the whole thing was really lovely.

And that is the story of how I became an unofficial honorary member of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra!
