Maybe he connects himself forcefully, slipping into your unconscious and whispering the horrible things he'll do to you. Theres no chance of escape either, when you try to speak, he erases that thought, leaving you dumbfounded and lost. His rewards make up for it though, when it comes down to it; human brains are no different than that of pets. And Pasqal would hate for his pet to be tricked by forces that have no good will towards them. It would be illogical.

She's gonna BEG you to go to the mall with her and talk to you all the time, but after a while shes cold, rude, and distant. Now this isnt her being some type of bitch, she just needs to be reassured. Comfort her, don't ditch her. Rita-chan might just be a magical girl with some magical struggles.
