I’m really starting to realise and come to terms with the heartbreaking fact that people who try to make you feel guilty or like you’re doing something wrong when you finally put yourself first or if they try to sabotage your recovery/progress instead of being encouraging about those things really do not care about or love you, even if they say they do

For context: I just found a recording in my phone of someone who claimed to be channeling Anubis. After I found out they lied about a plethora of other unrelated spiritual things, I went back and listened to said recording and good gods--they were definitely NOT channeling Anubis (the person "channeling" Anubis got various things wrong about Egyptian and Greek mythology, and had a British accent for half of it. "Anubis" was also very rude to us, and called us "dumb kids" on many occasions. Do you think an ancient god would really speak that way, especially to potential devotees?)

Not only is it an extremely shitty thing to do, it's also very, very spiritually damaging. And I don't doubt that the gods hate that kind of misrepresentation.

Things I hate:

When someone is like, "well I wanted to do this yesterday, but you weren't here, so I had to do it alone."

As if I, a) knew they wanted to do the thing, b) knew I was supposed to help with the thing, and c) ought to feel bad about having had plans even though I almost never have plans.
