WIP Thursday

I’m sewing again, and I also got back into these turn based RPGs I used to play in middle school. (The series is called Aveyond, and I love it to death)

So anyway here’s my process when I make one of my little dudes.

Here's the character I'm making.

his name is Dameon. he's the healer/sun priest

Here's my sketch of what i want him to look like

i don't always do a sketch but when they're more detailed it helps.

<then i cut out the pieces and sew them together by hand>

this particular dude was tricky because i made a hairstyle i've never done before. (I actually made a whole two practice dudes so i could understand how i was going to do his hair that i made yesterday. Or the practice vest i made today.)

i finished the dude, but he's not quite done yet. he needs his embroidered robes. (which was also tricky. I've made a separate vest before, like when i made Garak, but this one looks a bit different so yeah)

So yeah, that what I've been up to. I still need to embroider the vest once it's finished, and i'll post the finished guy then.
