Set 1 complete!!

Here’s the first set of Marvins! From left to right we have: me, @bupine-art , and @its-ethan-bro !! This was super fun, and these designs are super cute :’))

What’s happening on the smp you’re on plot wise?👀👀👀

Ok!! Hello!! My memory is shit but I’m gonna give this a shot!!! Probably not the best person to ask about stuff that requires memory but here we are!! The History and Lore of the Hallmark SMP so far!!

• @void-vanilla creates the server and informs us all over discord that it’s an island without trees. Lovely. But we all decide to give it a shot anyways.

•We spawn in and spend the first few nights trying to build shelter and getting relentlessly killed by skeletons and trident guys alike. @its-ethan-bro starts work on a lighthouse, I begin terraforming the land to make a house, and Void starts work on a farm.  •Along the way we uncover a few things: More islands with trees, one oak and two spruce. Void claims monopoly over spruce trees and also potatoes when they killed a zombie and a spud dropped. Over time Void became the main person to do trade with on the server because they somehow have everything already. •The next thing uncovered was a pink sheep. E claimed this sheep as a new religion and we all collectively agreed to name it god. The Strawberry Sheep became the new god of Law and Order.  •On the topic of gods, I found a random pig and put it in a boat, jokingly calling it Techno. Void took the pig and proclaimed it as their new god, one of Anarchy and Chaos.  •I also became a religious figure apparently but one less noted. I’m still confused on my role (Deity of land? Because I terraform? Unsure) but hey that’s fine- 

•Anyways, a rulebook was established. It contained things such as rules against griefing and stealing, one stating freedom of religion, and that all must subscribe to Technoblade (added by Void I think). The rule book was set up on a lectern that overlooked the sunset and was surrounded by flowers.  •Ok that was a bad timeline of day one so now I’m gonna bounce around for more details that occurred there.

•Void builds an island off the coast of Hallmark Island (spawn island renamed) and proclaims independence. Trade relations between E and Void become tense, a few skirmishes occur.  •Void quickly becomes more powerful than the rest of us, acquiring full iron while the rest of us are offline.

•Void also moved the lectern and constructed a monument surrounding it.  •Ok that’s all I can remember for the first day, so now to the second day-

•I log on and Void soon follows. I spend the first hour or so exploring and mining, acquiring only a few iron. I also begin construction on more animal pens and my house as well. E logs in soon and we’re all on the server.  •Conflict soon starts. E days in chat that xey have run out of fuel and are now burning boats. Void arrives at xeir lighthouse and demands that E buys charcoal from them. Void persists and threatens death but E refuses and states that xey will be unsubbing from Technoblade. I arrive at the lighthouse in time to see Void kill E and run back to their land. I immediately walk out of there in shock. Relationships between E and Void are now very tense.

•And then the worst happens.

•Walking by E’s lighthouse I jokingly throw eggs in through the doorway. I walk away quickly. Not even seconds later E shouts that their god, the Strawberry Sheep, has been slain. Xey immediately blame Void but I quickly connect the dots. The eggs must have hit Strawberry Sheep, right? Even though I didn’t see it, that seemed most likely. I quickly interject and explain. E is shocked but states xeir main priority is Void, so I am relatively off the hook. But there will still be a trial for the murder. I agree to those terms.

•So life goes on. One god is dead and Void gives me the name of Godslayer. They also state that they will be moving the monument and lawbook alike to their island which they are moving out from. They are relocating to smaller spruce island. Their old home, now housing the half completed monument is named Monument Island. It is also agreed upon that it is a zone of peace and no physical conflict can occur there.  •Time passes and things grow even more tense between E and Void. Void continues to call E and xeir nations cowards, stating that the only fair trial (regarding my trial for the murder of E’s god) is one by a fight to the death. E continues to stand xeir ground

•The argument escalated and they meet on Monument Island. Even though no physical conflict may occur, tensions are still very high. I also join them minutes later after finishing a section of my house.

•In that time Void has taken up the law book and written another law. That no citizens of the SMP can harm each other, therefore protecting Void from conflict. E takes the book and proclaims that law “bullshit” and erases it.  •This angers Void who continues to call E and Hallmark Island cowards. They proclaim that their island, now named the Territories of the Blade does not have such faults. That they are not cowards. But E still stands xeir ground and says that they will not break xeir spirit. And that xey no longer er have qualms over killing Void as the only thing preventing xem from doing so was the will of xeir god. But xeir god is dead and they do not have such restrictions anymore.

•It all comes to a climax when Void takes the lawbook from lectern. They stare at us before throwing into a cobble generator’s lava pit. The SMP is now lawless. Void then kills E on Monument Island and runs back to their land. The nights events then come to a close.

•We spend a half an hour more there talking out of character and collecting lost items. We all agree that a courthouse will need to be built and Void says that they can do so. Everyone logs off (besides me, I stayed on for three more hours finishing my house) and so concludes the second day.

So that’s the history so far of the Hallmark SMP! It’s a bit patchy because my memory SUCKS but hopefully it’s substantial enough!!

im just gonna come out here and say. what are ur dnd au tubbo and fundy like. i must know

HI E!!!! Ok ok I haven’t thought about Fundy yet and I’ve been mulling this over for a bit. I’m pretty sure half of these guys are gonna be homebrew races because not a lot fit quiiitteee right. So Fundy is gonna be a homebrew fox person of course. But not a human with fox ears and a tail but. Humanoid fox because I think those designs are just neat. And he has a theme of being a trickster/scammer on the SMP I’m thinking a rogue with levels in Bard, so maybe Arcane Trickster? I’m not too knowledgeable on that kinda area so I may be a bit off there but probably a rogue. That design would be cool as hell though honestly- Give Fundy some cool ass gear HELL yeah!! But yeah that’s the building blocks for him so far but everything’s subject to change since this au is brand new!

And for Tubbo!! An anon suggested a knome for him a bit ago but I’ve been mulling it over. I’m not entirely sure what Tubbo’s race would be honestly. I mean I could always fall back on human but I like the idea kf him having wings somehow. But having him be an Aarakocra would be eh because that’s just a bird person and probably not an Aasimar because they’re usually very good alignment wise and Tubbo is very much chaotic good. Soooo I don’t know!!! Same with class too, I’m a bit lost on that. Druid is a possibility but I’m very much not sure about that. Tubbo with magic in this au would be VERY cool though so I’m probably gonna look into one of those. Overall I’m just not very certain? I don’t know why I should be able to nail these down but I’m just not sure. But yeah :D!!
