You'll learn to say "love;" I'll learn to hear it.

Keep moving forward."

Edit:
Just to give more context, Avery escaped the fake D3rlord3 after parkouring and like canon met the real D3rlord3 this time. Except that he's much more influenced by TKY also why tky was able to make a copy of D3lord3
Bonus: lineless art because @panaligiotis said it looked cool

Simon is ugly.
He's not insulting himself when he says it. It's just a fact. A chunk of flesh missing from his cheek, a crooked nose with a scar across the bridge. His cleft pallete surgery from childhood had left its own mark, along with the many minuscule scars that marred the rest of his face.
That's why he couldn't grasp why you looked at him like he was the most handsome man in the world.
"Oh! Hi Si!" If anyone else ever called him that, he would've snapped. Your wide smile, your unflinching gaze, the sparkle in your eye like you weren't staring at a monster. "Are you here for your usual sandwich?"
Simon didn't have time to make food for himself. He didn't like to, so the deli down the street was the best option. He nods, which makes you smile impossibly wider before tapping the counter.
"Coming right up." You make his sandwich in a silence that should feel awkward, but it doesn't. You never push him to talk, never take offense to his lack of words. His thank you was a five dollar bill in your tip jar when he left, which was enough for you.
You slide his bag across the counter with his chips and cookie set neatly on top. "Have a good day, Si. I'll see you tomorrow?" If Simon was delusional, he might think you sounded a little bit hopeful.
He grunts, slips the money into your jar, and leaves. You take it as a yes because it's the most noise you've heard him make since telling you his name and order six months ago.
