there were no pure intentions behind the kennedy’s being seen at sunday mass. everything they did was simply for show and with johnny making some not so great choices as of lately, kathy forced him to go to mass with her. he was bored, terribly so. but when his eyes spotted a familiar, innocent little blonde, his attention piqued. once he caught her eye, he put a bright smile on his face, made it look like he was singing along to all of the church songs, even though he didn’t know a single one, and acted incredibly interested in whatever it was the pastor was preaching about. and when mass was dismissed and people were gathering outside and chatting, johnny removed himself from whatever conversation he was in, approaching audrey with a soft smile. “i’ve gotta say, that was really inspiring...you know. the part where he was like ‘the lord is my shepard and....all that other stuff.” he said motioning his hand in the air. “real deep stuff.”

"  i  feel  like  such  an  old  man.  "  could  he  have  asked  reid to  explain  this  all  to  him?  maybe.  did  he  want  to  deal  with  his  fourteen-year-old  son  being  an  arse  about  it  for  months? definitely  not.  graham  always  valued  a  personal  touch  when  it came  to  public  relations  ,  which  is  why  he  wanted  to  control  his  social  media  presence.  should  be  easy  enough.  he  knew how  to  use  social  media,  twitter,  instagram,  he'd  even  looked around  on  tiktok  (  though  never  posted  )  and  figured  out  how  it  worked.  but  he  needed  a  strategy.  though  he  was  an expert  at  planning  a  multi-book  series  by  now  ,  knowing  how to  do  social  media  and  not  look  like  an  arsehole  was  not his  strong  suit  apparently.  so  he'd  hired  audrey.  "  thanks for  all  your  help.  "
