Esme had been both surprised and happy when Ethan had reached out to her. She hadn’t really spoken to him much since New Year’s mostly because she’d been living in her own word. Not to mention she was still just incredibly confused on where things stood between them. She knew he wasn’t in a good place mentally, and that he still wasn’t really to the point where he was thinking about relationship. Yet he seemed to be interested in doing something with her, and because of everything she almost felt as though she owed him that. Not to mention the fact that she still really liked him so she just liked the excuse of being close to him and such. When she heard him arrive she opened the door. “Hey come on in.” She said with a smile before gesturing him to come inside.
