Err good luck in finding the right place for it. That magazine will regret not learning more about cleaner
Well, it’s not Cleaner, believe it or not. Cleaner’s probably different enough from the SWTOR agent story to be classified as fair use, but the short I submitted was otherwise unpublished. Thanks for the boost on Cleaner, though, I enjoy writing him too!.

Good luck! I know you wont need it though :)
I do appreciate the well wishes. Very much so.

Update as much as you like! We’ll be cheering.
I’ll take that as permission to bore people with my rejection woes. You have been warned. ;) Seriously, though, I’ll come up with a tag people can block if you don’t want to read the posts. I know I keep saying it, but thanks for the likes on my fanfic and for the encouragement. Without those, I wouldn’t be submitting anything.

you can point with your chin :)
:D
These answers could have been coming from me. The sentence was a bit unspecific. :D
I actually changed a human pointing fingers to nodding towards something. She does need her fists to portray she’s angry! (Problems you get when you move sentences from one passage to another...)

take care of yourself. hope you feel better soon
Thank you! That’s what I am trying to do.
There are times when things I don’t like yet am unable to change are harder to deal with. Usually it’s only a phase. I need the right mix of procrastination and actually getting shit done. Everything will be fine again in a few days.
A(nother) Personal Challenge
Write something silly and fluffy where the protagonist gets hit by a car.
Here goes @itskabe
Valen Korik wandered through the hallways, drink in hand, his heavy Mandalorian boots leaving brief tread impressions in the short pile carpet. Soothing instrumental music played over the public address system at the perfect unobjectionable volume. Inoffensive landscapes depicting the Empire and its colonies hung on the walls. Korik sighed and sipped his drink. Good, solid Mandalorian rum. The one interesting thing in this otherwise boring place.
He passed a set of heavy carved double doors. Beside them was a placard inscribed with elegant aurebesh script.
Dark Temple Sith
Korik stopped his restless walking. Some of his clan hung out here. He heard Kregg was spending time with this group, too. He checked his chrono. He still had some time left to kill. In a moment of recklessness, he pushed open the doors and stepped in.
itskabe replied to your post:i swear its like theres no good word for vagina...
what’s the context for this? what’s wrong with the word vagina? is vulva too formal/sciency? DON’T YOU WANT TO WRITE ABOUT PUNANI?!?! idk I just think there’s less casual reference so fewer casual words
yah its just porn
i mean, cock is so universal and it’s got such a nice ring to it
and while cunt is kinda similar in punchiness, mouthfeel and shape and stuff it doesn’t have quite the same... colloquial implication?
admit i’ve not heard of “punani” - is that where poon-tang comes from?
@itskabe challenged me to share 5 creative things I’m proud of. My forays into electronic art media have not produced anything worthy of sharing (though omg layers are teh awesome) so here are writing creative stuff.
Cleaner One: It's the longest continuous thing I've ever written and it's not done yet. I'm still interested in the character. No idea what the word count is but it must be well over 100,000. Usually by this time I’d have long ago consigned it to the unfinished WIP pile.
WoW script Guild Initiation: It was silly, I don’t know how to do video editing so I could never actually film it as a machinima. But I finished it and even reading it years later, I can still see the scenes in my mind’s eye as I imagined them.
SFWC prompts: This sounds goofy, but I enjoy coming up with these prompts. Beyond that, I love it when my idea takes root in another writer’s mind and flowers into something new. That’s the best part.
Flight of the Majestic: My NaNoWriMo 2015 project. Shared bits are here, here, here, here, and here. First, I managed to write the required amount in the time allowed (less than, actually), something I really didn't expect I’d do. Second, even at first draft, I like it. It’s my story, my world, my characters. And I like my characters, even when they’re being jerks to each other or doing shortsighted things. I especially like it when the characters decide what they’re going to do, and that happened often on this piece. It is like the characters were telling me the story, not that I was telling theirs.
Harkun/Ffon Breakup:Not so much for content, as I don't know that it's particularly good, but for meta reasons. I had a terrible idea. No, really, it was an awful terrible idea. I wasn't comfortable writing the subject or the content since I don't like romance or sexually explicit stuff (for me it was pretty explicit and I feel the need to move to Canada) or highly charged emotional situations. Cleaner readers might be surprised; I've almost axed several scenes from personal discomfort. But I wrote it. Wrote it and finished it. Wrote it and finished it and shared it with others instead of burying it in a sealed directory somewhere deep in my file system. That's the part I'm proud of. Shout out to @brightephemera for the flash fic challenge that spawned it. Excuse me now, I need to pack for Canada. Will my phone work there?
Honorable mention: The Worst Day/Alternate perspectives pair for a young Jesp Rixik and younger Kirya Bilali, for such differing views on the same situation. The Strange Case of Dr Quinn and Mr Pierce, for the inspiration and use of language, though I think I’d edit out the comedic bit with Mr Broonmark’s hat if I had it to do over. The collected drabble bits I did in December. I had fun writing them. Two, Vashutarl’s and Jurial’s, beg for follow ups. A Little Bit of Lettice, where I tried to show a character’s past and her feelings about that past and her present by letting the reader see what she saw, with very little explanation and no dialogue. Whether it worked or not is open for debate but it was a good exercise.
