He— he’d been so happy to kill all these people. And he thought Claire would be happy, too! It was only reasonable, right—? Only… only foolish.
For everyone would leave him in the end.
Another playful smirk crossed his face, and he dropped the corpse to the ground, stepping on it with the heel of his boot.
"Oz Vessalius? No—. I’m Oz, the B-Rabbit.” The blonde giggled, digging his heel into the dead man. “Are you surprised? It’s kind of funny~! I didn’t know, myself, for a long time, either!” Another giggle as he watched everything around him turn black with wide, amused eyes.
"I’m no child, Claire.” Her name was said with such disgust; he spit at the ground after the word had escaped. “I’ve been alive for far too long.” Tapping his finger at his chin, a delighted grin appeared on his face, and he chuckled, swinging his over-sized weapon around as he spoke. “So, let’s play a game, shall we~?” Dragging out his words, Oz finally pointed his red scythe away from himself, where Claire had been standing before everything turned pitch black. “Let’s see who dies first!”
"I don’t doubt you’ll be hard to kill!" The chain twirled around, making sure to have his scythe swinging around him in case she attacked him right off the bat. There were only two outcomes, then, right? If she died, he’d continue the fun— and if he died—
He’d finally be free from this sick life.
