Hey so I was just wondering if orders on Etsy, red bubble etc are just limited to what you have listed. I saw some of your earlier works that I really loved and saw that they had been prints before but that the links went 404. I don’t know anything about the printing process but I was just curious if you could make prints of your other artwork if they were requested or not. 💖
Sorry for the late response! If there’s something you would like a print of, please let me know. I can add retired prints to my Redbubble!
I finished ME3 I chose to destroy the Reapers for my ending. What are your thoughts on ME3's endings? Did you like the endings? What was the ending you chose in your first playthrough?
I think the first time I did control? Overall I like destroy the best and do that on all my playthroughs now. Anything that leaves the Reapers alive just seems like a problem waiting to happen. As far as my feelings on the ending as a whole....lmao. Extended cut helped things, but there was zero closure for Shepard and the ME3 crew and some of the writing made no sense. Why would all synthetics be destroyed? Why would the Mass Relays get blown up? Were the stranded dextro aliens going to starve in the sol system? And of course the “incomprehensible” motivation of the Reapers is revealed to just be killing organics so synthetics can’t kill them. So stupid. My biggest problem with the endings is that Bioware wrote themselves into such a big hole that they can’t have another ME game in the same goddamn galaxy. TBH they should have just had you destroy the Reapers and get rid of control and synthesis (which alone has soooo many problems).
That said ME3 is still my favorite of the series. It had some of the worst problems in the series, but it also has a lot of the best aspects too.
What's the favorite radio song of each of your fallout ocs?
Rhodes - I Don’t Want to Set the World on Fire (actually prefers Herbert Dashwood’s radio plays to music)
Calypso - Ain’t That a Kick in the Head? and Blue Moon are the only songs she won’t shut the radio off for
Fish - The Wanderer (but whenever she’s at a jukebox she puts Butcher Pete parts 1&2 on repeat 20 times, with Uranium Fever somewhere in the middle. Hancock has shot a lot of jukeboxes)
so uhhhhhhhhhhhh who is your Ryder and what are they like? TELL. ME. EVERYTHING.
My Ryder’s name is Serafina, and she is (usually) an engineer or a sentinel. She’s pretty inexperienced and immature still, and honestly poorly suited to leadership. She’d rather have Cora be Pathfinder, as she’s not experienced in combat, diplomacy, combat, or just general decision making. Since she has to play that role anyways, she leans a lot on her squad for guidance.
Serafina’s an easy going girl, a bit of a techy, loves the outdoors. She got along well with most of the squad and romanced Jaal.
How do you draw hair I have a real difficult time with that? Love u
Under the cut!
Yeah hair is difficult, primarily because we see it as “hair.” If you want to draw/paint hair nicely, it’s best to not see it as “hair” but as a whole shape. If you simplify the hair into simpler shapes rather than small strands of hair, it’ll read a lot better. It also helps if you limit the values on hair so it doesn’t become too distracting. Two values keeps it nice and simple, and three values works okay on shiny hair if the shape isn’t distracting.
This drawing by Lucas Graciano at Watts shows a nice two value hair drawing:
You’ll notice that the strands of hair have been simplified into large locks. Also, the edge where the hair falls on the face is hard, but the edges of the hair as it goes into the background is soft. This gives it some depth. Overall, it’s very simple, but reads nicely as hair.
If you want to study drawing/painting hair, I recommend doing studies of drawings like the above, or doing studies of black and white photos like this one of nyane:
Her hair here could be 3 values:black for the roots, and middle grey and light grey for the bleached portion. Focus on doing black and white values only, as color is really not as important. You can always add in color later with adjustment layers like overlay, multiply, etc. You can add a few smaller strands in later for detail, but honestly for learning just keep it simple.
I generally start off looking at fashion/armor/whatever pictures for ideas, and then I’ll sit down and sketch. I usually make a body base template and sketch REALLY roughly on top of that, not worrying about if it looks right. Just to get a general idea of shape placement, almost like a thumbnail.
^ as you can see, it’s drawn like garbage
If there’s something I like the feel of, I’ll take it into a more refined sketch and paint it up. Most important thing is to get some ideas out quickly, same as thumb-nailing an illustration, really.
EDIT: Here’s an example of what something like this looks like painted up. Here I’ve got both layers of her outfit drawn up.
Just saw your post about Fish and I was wondering what her decisions were story wise. Also what did she do in Far Harbor and Nuka World?
Played the BoS and Institute before wrecking both for the Railroad
Saved Danse during Blind Betrayal
Saved child synth Shaun but gives him to the Railroad to take care of. She doesn't know wtf to do with a kid so it's for the best.
That's like all the decisions for the main game lmao
Blew up the Children of Atom but made peace between Acadia and Far Harbor. She told Nick to try to be friends with DiMA. She told DiMA she doesn't think she's a synth, but also doesn't really care.
Pretended to become Overboss so she could enjoy being an obnoxious tourist with her friends at Nuka World. Despite doing nothing for the raiders, Gage really liked her and confessed his trust in her, unfortunately she killed all the raiders the next day. He’s chilling in Sanctuary now with Preston. I doubt they’re friends.
