YAY! FINALLY A FINISHED DRAWING! o(o^O^o)o
It’s not what you look at that matters. It’s what you see. Henry David Thoreau Also a short drive from Chiang Rai, in the opposite direction of Baan Dam / Black House (and opposite in everyway) is Wat Rong Khun / White Temple Created by Chalermchai Kositpipat, who was a student of Thawan Duchanee (the artist that created The Black House....see yesterday's pictures), the White Temple is meant to be an artistic interpretation of a Buddhist temple, not an actual temple. The stark white is meant to represent the purity and peacefulness of Buddha. I felt no peace at the White Temple. Overall it disturbed me. Some parts seemed almost sinister. Baan Dam / Black House brought me calmness and a sense of peace. Those visiting roamed quietly along side me as we discovered each new building, letting it unfold in front of us. White Temple caused my heart to race (not in a good way...). Everyone around me pushed for a better vantage point and seemed rushed as if getting through to the end the fastest was a prize. A parallel of my life? Where I once rushed to the end, I am now trying to be content (or at least trying to be) with letting it all unfold in front of me. #cancerteachesuslessons #itstillsucks #recommence #carryonwithkelley #THISbringsmejoy #fuckcancer #traveltheworldwithme #thailand #chiangrai #whitetemple #watrongkhun (at White Temple Chiang Rai) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7lJGHQgDF4/?igshid=1avjr75nttecm
12:15 AM.
I want to travel the world one day, but I wish I could take that adventure with you. I know that it probably not going to happen, and we'll just live separate lives. But, every time I get that occasional "hello" from you, I'll just wonder where we could've gone if you had stayed. Could we have traveled the world? Probably not. But I'd have had many adventures exploring the terrain of your body, getting lost in your hazel eyes, listening to the outrageous ideas you'd have while we were stoned off our asses, heh...man those were great times. Now your gone, and I am on a new adventure. I just wish I didn't feel so lost..
every little bit of me wants to say goodmorning and wants to talk to you but I know it'll mean nothing. Sometimes I just wish things didn't have to change this drastically. Everything to nothing, like complete strangers now.
Glasslip - Harsh critics, indeed!
If you want a good laugh and simultaneously hate Glasslip (chances are you need one after being bored by sitting through an episode), read this review of episode 4: http://otakuness.wordpress.com/2014/07/26/glasslip-episode-04-review/
