Like a Secret in Your Throat (Frank Iero X Reader)

“So booooored...” Moaned a black-haired, pale-skinned man on the carpet. “Me too,” You agreed, lying on the couch and staring up at the ceiling. Gerard was in the kitchen, pouring coffee. “You guys want some?” He asked. “No thanks,” You and Frank both said simultaneously. You looked at each other and laughed. Gerard entered the living room, brown mug in his hand and grin on his face. “What are you so happy about, Gee?” You asked. “Nothing. It’s just that you two have been exceptionally awkward recently...” He sat down on the couch next to you. “What do you mean?” You laughed. “Nothing, nothing... You guys wanna watch TV?” “Not really,” Replied Frank, his voice muffled from the carpet. You noticed that he had turned over. “Okay. Truth or dare?” “YES!” Frank suddenly shot up from the ground, hitting his head on the TV in the process. He leaned against the wall casually, acting as if nothing had happened. “Okay. Y/N, truth or dare?” “Truth,” You instantly chose the safer option. “Is it true that you think Frank is attractive?” What kind of question was that?! Of course you thought Frank was attractive. He was the most attractive person you had ever met. But you would never admit that. “I- I don’t know. I guess I’ve never thought about that...” Frank looked out the window uncomfortably. “Frank, truth or dare?” “Gee, I’m supposed to ask him. Don’t cheat.” “You’re the cheater, Y/N. That’s not how the rules go.” You frowned. You’ve been to enough middle school slumber parties to know how to play truth or dare, but you remained silent. “Truth!” “Is it true that you were going to ask Y/N out on Valentine’s Day, but you couldn’t work up the courage?” Frank’s eyes widened. You fumbled with your belt buckle awkwardly, waiting for his answer. “No- I- he- I didn’t- he’s lying! No. The answer is no!” You smirked, amused at the fact that Frank’s face resembled a ripe tomato. “What are you onto?” You aggressively asked Gerard. He ignored you. “Y/N, truth or dare?” “DARE!” “I dare you to kiss Frank. On the lips. For at least five seconds. Open-mouthed. With tongue.” “Okay, what the fuck?! What are you trying to do?” “I’m trying to play truth or dare.” He sassed. A devilish smile slowly crept across his face. “I know you two have a crush on each other.” Silence. Complete and utter silence. Frank sighed. “He isn’t wrong,” He whispered, just loud enough for you to hear. “He’s actually completely right.” You murmured. Gerard looked like he had just won the lottery. “Will you, um... Will you... Go... Will you go, um, out with me, Y/N?” You nodded. “Of course, Frank.” Gerard pumped his fist in triumph. “I SHIPPED IT FOR SO LONG! YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW! YES, YES, YES! WOO!” “We should play this more often.”
