I'm learning what it is to let myself feel loved and lemme tell you, it's nice<3
May I recommend a book? I think you'd enjoy Major Pettigrew's Last Stand by Helen Simonson. It's a light, fun read while also providing an interesting commentary on classism, bigotry, and how people justify and perpetuate casual racism.
This sounds great!! Thanks so much for the recommendation! It’s now on my to-read list!
Has anyone else read this? Would you also recommend it?
Do you have any general thoughts on school uniforms?
Generally, I’m not a fan. I don’t buy the “looking professional” argument.
I was at this conference at my school today. There were about 50-60 people there. At one point one of the nuns asked how many of us had heard about what was going on in Ferguson. I was one of three people to raise their hands. Three people. Out of 50. The rest didn’t even know there was anything going on. Thank you so, so much for covering this. It is absolutely vital that people know about it. Thank you.
