Sapphire: “Nothing was the same. It was a different town entirely, full of total strangers. I looked everywhere for a familiar face; called out for anyone I knew from before. But nobody came. I was alone.”

Sapphire: “I went to the station, because that was the only part of “home” left. And even THAT felt like a completely different place. A once thriving social hub now feels like a ghost town. But I had nowhere else to go. ...Until you two showed up...”

Sasha: “We know what it’s like to come home after a long time and find everything different... And we were gone half the time you were, so it’s gotta be twice as bad for you... We’ll do everything we can to help you find what’s left of your family. And...if we can’t...we’ll gladly help you find new family.”

Jamie: “We got your back, girl. Us fallen stick together.”

Sapphire: Thanks, guys. In a way... You’re my family now, too...”

Sapphire: “I mean... It’s hard to band together against a giant, megalomaniac weed and NOT come out as family!”

It's rare, but for once Piper's voice is genuinely sing-song and cheery. New Universe, new people, except for once... the girl before them looked very familiar. A different sort of familiar than they were with their usual acquaintances. 

It takes them a few moments to finally remember that the smol before them is Ivy, one of their friends from camp.

"It's Ivy, right? Do you remember Piper- from camp?"

Mari: Oh my gosh!!! My child! I mean little sibling ah! You are! Perfect as well the best little sibling one could ask for aa!!! Do you want some cookies i have some in the fridge!!

Ivy blinked in surprise as the ghost looked at her with an interested expression. “O-oh ok! Well Manticores’ are on the Ministry of Magic’s XXXXX rating, of which dementors, dragons, werewolves, wampus cats and others are also that rating. Manticores’ are capable of human speech too, I guess cuz they have the face of a man… Also Manticore is a popular song by the comedy duo… uh NSP…” she stuttered, now that was done. 

She nods, then sighs at the stutter at the end. “Okay, a tip for when you’re talking? Try to stop the stuttering. It’ll make it easier for people to A, take you seriously, and B, understand you.” She shrugs. 

“But then again, what do I know? I was dead for a couple years before... whoever it was.... came and told my sister that I was a wizard, and then bam, I was able to be seen. I’m sure my interaction skills are a little rusty.”
