I kind of find it ironic that while not knowing too much about the Robron saga on Emmerdale (I really should watch it at some point 😊 ), I do know that Gary Mavers played Aaron's father (who also abused him). Aaron was with Robert (played by Ryan Hawley), and now we know that Ryan Hawley's character, Jamie, has historically abused Cam in Casualty.

I know Gary Mavers more as being Andrew from Peak Practice (see here), so essentially, the six degrees of separation from Andrew from Peak Practice to Ryan Hawley/Robert Sugden from Emmerdale to Barney Walsh/Cam from Casualty is real 😂🥺💖

(Also, how have I only just learned that Gary Mavers has a YouTube channel where he restores vintage cars?? So cute! 🥹💖)

Sometimes I think about whether I'm just shouting into the abyss about my really niche fandoms (Ballykissangel, Peak Practice etc.) and whether there is much reason for me to make content (gifs, fics etc.) for shows and ships that barely anyone knows or cares about... and then I stumble across people like @polarbearjoke and @thelonelydetectives and I don't feel as crazy because they not only find themselves also loving these obscure little shows, but seem to be as passionate as I am to engage in debate and discussion and create content for these shows 💖

There are so many people like this on this site and I love you all 💖

Peak Practice Cut Episodes

So apparently UKTVPlay (the on-demand player for Drama Channel - the channel that airs the Peak Practice reruns) are now only placing the cut episodes (with 5-6 minutes of content cut) on the UKTVPlay website, which means I’m probably missing key angsty Will scenes and I’m annoyed :/ 

Tagging you all because even though most of you stopped watching after s1-3, this may affect my ability to get key Will moments to gif/experience/write about :/

Update: I think I have found a roundabout way to get the full episodes - using the Hola VPN (yes, it is a dodgy VPN but I won’t be using it for anything else xD) to watch the episodes on Amazon Prime (which I can’t normally get in Ireland) so that I can screen record the episodes xD All this effort for something that shouldn’t even be a problem :P

So I always wanted to write a Will and Kim fic, since they have become one of my favourite ships on the show <3 However, I do realise that they are a rarepair ship, so this fic won’t get many views, but I’m alright with that <3

I have a history of fainting, and the idea came to me recently after a situation where I suddenly became lightheaded. I wrote half of this fic that night, and wrote the rest this evening, after actually suddenly fainting for real xD I’m feeling a bit better now, but at least I got first-hand experience again to refresh my memory xD

Amanda Burton in Brookside

When you begin watching Brookside before watching Peak Practice... and then resume watching months after you discovered Peak Practice... and realise that you’ve been watching Amanda Burton all along and not realising it before now, but now recognise her by her voice and not because of the early 80s hair she was sporting xD xD

Seriously considering starting my first-time watch of Inspector Morse sooner than I thought :P Was going to wait until Endeavour finished its run, but I just realised that Kevin Whately plays Lewis, and having recently discovered him in Peak Practice, I’m quite excited to see what he has to offer <3 <3 <3
