I kind of find it ironic that while not knowing too much about the Robron saga on Emmerdale (I really should watch it at some point 😊 ), I do know that Gary Mavers played Aaron's father (who also abused him). Aaron was with Robert (played by Ryan Hawley), and now we know that Ryan Hawley's character, Jamie, has historically abused Cam in Casualty.
I know Gary Mavers more as being Andrew from Peak Practice (see here), so essentially, the six degrees of separation from Andrew from Peak Practice to Ryan Hawley/Robert Sugden from Emmerdale to Barney Walsh/Cam from Casualty is real 😂🥺💖
(Also, how have I only just learned that Gary Mavers has a YouTube channel where he restores vintage cars?? So cute! 🥹💖)

I just want to say now his time on the show is nearly over and the scum he played has been sent where he belongs (think we might see him again at the sentencing) Gary Mavers has been brilliant through this storyline. It’s all been slightly traumatising for my mum who crushed on him when he played Lovely Dr Andrew on Peak Practice and was very excited when I first told her he was joining Emmerdale (”mum you know how Dr Andrew is on Emmerdale now, yeah about that...) but the fond memories of his Peak Practice days just show what a fantastic actor he is - that he was able to make Gordon feel so sickeningly real. Bravo that man.
Gordon is the absolute scum of the earth...BUT...can we just take a moment to applaud Gary for his work? Because it's not an easy thing to play someone like him and he is doing an outstanding job.
