the difference between how flame and wemmbu have been treated by "authority" figures is very notorious and honestly kinda sad
like, flame has always been praised and all of his mentors so far have been like "you have a lot of talent, you surprised me" and have complimented him. from swight to itz to mane and now theo too, they all admit he's strong. even his enemies have said it
whereas wemmbu was called weak over and over by zam and a lost cause by mane. both of them had a huge impact on his character and what they did to him became his motivation to become strong, so he'd never be treated like that again
It's very obvious probably, but for me Flame's training arc rn is a soul searching disguised as a training session. Every other mentor has showed him new reasons to fight, other perspectives. Swight fights for money and riches. He only cares about his name when it's somehow can hinder his ability to gain those. Mane fights for fun and riches. But most importantly the fun. He loves fighting and the genuine thrill of the battle. He was so excited when SargentLAW brought an army with him, cuz for him it's all fun and games. We know that Flame takes his name way too seriously and that leads to him enjoying his time on the server way less. He loves to battle too, but his obsession with his name really blinds him and ruins everything. He needs to care more about his friends rn. And Itz showed him a real possibility of becoming tired of battles. The pursuit of greatness, of the titles is a never ending loop. You'll never be the strongest for forever. And someday you'll just get tired because you always win. I think or wish that after this or some future arcs Flame finally understands that he isn't just his title. He's someone more than just an immortal demon. He's Flame. And mb the next trainer (cough cough Theo) will show him the new perspective. I kinda wish that it's Theo, because he fights for his friends. His main motivation is Parrot's wellbeing and success. And it's something Flame really needs to learn. Also it's something no other trainer could ever teach him, cuz they're lonely. Mane, Swight and Itz don't really have any friends or allies, they're loners. Flame needs to learn to value his connections again and I feel that Theo is the perfect person to teach that.
Also bonus Flame sketch I did during classes

Rewatching the director arc made me so many things I havent realized before but something I've noticed this time is the thing I wonder how none ever talked about it
The weekly villains are afraid of the director and none of them seem like they wanted to do what they did (except for Truoriginal but he doesn't seem to like him anyways)
Like, Itz sounded afraid during his last talk with Parrot and told him to run, Cube also said that he is forced to do what he's doing
However there is like I said one exception which is Truoriginal but before his dead he told Parrot "I finally get to ruin some lives for what you did to me" which is either director did something to him and he blames Parrot for it or Parrot in fact have done something to him and he agreed to help the director for revenge
