Behind the scenes of ICY mv, Areum was watching Chaer do her scenes, each time that the director called cut she would coo over her. Areum would pinch her cheeks and speak to her, MIDZY loved seeing her constantly dote over Chaeryeong and make sure she was enjoying herself for filming

During a radio interview the girls were asked what was one of their most impactful moments with another member, and Chaer mentioned how Areum would sit with her and remind her how much she was a valued member of the team. When she was speaking, Areum was seen sitting next to Yeji wiping tears as Chaer got emotional and gave her a heartfelt thanks

Areum was never shy about her upbringing and her family, often excited to share memories and photos. When the scene played of Areum getting worked up, they asked who called her after she answered the phone with a cute ‘my baby hello!’. Smiling, she mentioned that no matter what is going on, whenever she gets extremely upset, Chaer is the person who always appears to her. She always claims that Chaer is her miracle in her idol life

When the group was visiting a theme park, Chaer kept getting attached to but the girls were constantly saying that she could only get one thing to take back because she already owned so many trinkets and plushies. MIDZY favourite clip of the two that day was Areum whispering that whatever she wanted she could have because her unnie would get it for her

Many longstanding MIDZY fans are aware of how run down the group can get with constant hate and people telling them that they wouldn’t amount to the fame that their labelmates have. MIDZY notice that no matter what, the oldest is always there in the background cheering them on and encouraging them to constantly do better and allow for mistakes. A fan favourite moment would be from when Areum was monitoring a practice for Chaeryeong’s feature stage when the young girl kept getting frustrated with herself. The elder made her sit and speak out everything that she felt was going wrong and then used the examples to instead show her how she was improving so much. After the performance Areum was seen standing and yelling out cheers for her member, many seniors watching with fond looks

Chaeryeong was doing a vlive when she was asked how she liked being an idol, she mentioned that life was hard but she loved being with her members. She said how no matter what was happening a very big constant in the biggest moments was Areum. Chaer went on a four minute spiral about every moment that Areum was there to witness and she even mentioned how she wants to be with her for the rest of ITZY and beyond

hyejin shrugged as she tied her shoelaces. today was the monthly evaluations for the trainees but this time it was to see who would be played in the next lineup for the company’s next boy and girl groups. sure, a lot was at stake for hyejin to do well but she felt if she thought about it as any other evaluation then she would have a better chance at keeping her composure.
‘gosh, you have nerves of steel, hyejin… you look so unbothered and I’m practically shaking out of my shoes’ ‘ryujin , i feel like you should be the least nervous out of all of us’
ryujin would without a doubt be placed in the debut lineup. she was a phenomenal dancer and rapper and their trainers always had nothing but positives things to say to her at the end of her evaluations. hyejin , while she got praises now and again , she never really stood out in the words of the trainers. she was always in the background keeping to herself and in the group evaluations, she settled for doing mostly supporting vocals but today , that was going to change.
