The answer

A little update for anyone interested.

I have stopped taking heroin daily more than 14 months ago now. Initially, I started out by reducing my drug use to doing H once a week, by winter 2019/2020 once every two weeks and by spring, when I started college, once every four weeks. I made a post about using less and less at that time too, but I can’t find it anymore. But I’m now only using when I’m in my hometown, which is every 4-10 weeks. I’ve also been reducing my Substitol and I’d like to get off of it completely in the next couple months, because I feel ready. I know it won’t be easy. But I feel like there won’t be any better time than this.

BTW, I’m now over two and a half years clean off coke. I used to shoot it back then and I am so glad I was able to stop after just a couple weeks/few months. I don’t ever crave cocaine, and I still sometimes get panic attacks because of it. Thankfully, this doesn’t happen very often, but it reminds me that I can’t ever do coke again.

Last time I did coke was speedballs on my birthday. It was pretty fun but my bf and I ended up going on a bit of a bender and stayed up for like 3 days and then crashed pretty hard, but ehh that’s to be expected. I have a very love/hate relationship with coke, it was one of the last hard drugs I ever tried (I smoked crack years before I first did coke) and I have only ever shot it as part of a speedball and the only reason I even started adding coke to my shots was because I wasn’t getting a rush from just dope anymore. Once the rush is done like 90% of the time I hate how coke makes me feel, which is why I won’t even consider shooting it without dope.
