So this is 45. This body has... -had 3 c-sections -had back surgery -had knee surgery -lost 110 lbs -been baptized -been married for 24 years -heard a baby's first cry -witnessed a last breath -known the deepest hurt a parent could ever know -been loved unconditionally -ran a half marathon -felt sand between my toes and dirt under my fingernails -had a tough childhood -fought back to not let my childhood define me -found a deep passion for helping and taking care of others that I never expected would affect me so profoundly -been blessed even when I probably didn't deserve it -realized I have a bigger purpose So if THIS is 45...Happy Birthday to Me!
