Hello, I'm popping your ask box to share that I've been RPing this character, Ivy Rose Walker. She's Rose Walker's daughter but gets extremely short shifted in the comics, so I made what I consider the tv adaptation variant of her. Hey, thanks for the ask. I think the reason she gets a bit shortchanged is that many people in the Sandman fandom don’t read the Sandman Universe/Dreaming stuff. So Ivy is not really in the minds of a lot of people because she doesn’t appear in the main run. I freely admit that I wasn’t a massive fan of Spurrier’s run, but that mostly had to do with the fact that I thought he grossly mischaracterised Daniel!Dream.
I love Rose Walker and think she’s painfully overlooked in fandom (both show and comics Rose). Her arc is such a powerful one, and I actually think it’s been improved for the show. She has her own tag on my blog, feel free to have a browse:
Jed has one, too, although there’s quite a bit of overlap because their arcs are obviously closely linked.
