you’re telling me that lucius “i am not the one with secrets i care for nothing but the people of this village are you not angry that you have no sight what of noah” hunt would not be extraordinarily pissed at THE AUDACITY of the elders’ assumption that he and ivy would continue their legacy which allowed children to die or go blind needlessly and allowed noah to be abused only to die alone and afraid in a HOLE in the woods to protect their secrets???? AND IVY. SWEET BRAVE IVY WHEN SHE FINDS OUT THAT HER CHILDHOOD BEST FRIEND HORRIFICALLY DIED (a death that SHE ACCIDENTALLY UNKNOWINGLY CAUSED) ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT HIS DEATH WILL BECOME THE FABRICATION THAT ALLOWS THE VILLAGE TO CONTINUE IS MIND-BOGGLING like i get it its going to take them a REALLY long time to understand how much their perception of reality has been twisted but GOD when they REALIZE???
