Im reading you r big Longstar comic and in the “some diagnosis of why im so hollow” is that background mountain a cat? It looks like a cat a nd I can’t tell if that was on purpose
Kudos for noticing! It’s the founder of the Miretrees, the Maker of the Dark Forest, the horrible One Eye of the Dawn of the Clans - he’s where the Dark Forest Cats bring their living apprentices to be corrupted - I never found a place to mention it in the written story but thought it was too cool to leave out entirely
He can’t fade - the stories of his crimes are too many - but he certainly can’t physically harm another cat ever again. He woke after death, claws catching in the ground and sprouting thick vines wherever he roamed. Eventually he trapped himself in the wall of thorns, and screamed until his voice failed, and the ground rushed up to hold him until he fades away…
does he even remember who he was? Who he hurt? His daughters?
is he even sane?
