Yamaguchi is a SWer with a small but very dedicated following. Like 1-2,000 followers with like 10-20 ish regulars who like to spoil him with gifts. A lot of the haikyuu!! ensemble is subbed to him; half of them know it's him, the other half doesn't, but it doesn't make them any less attracted to him.
When he meets the half that does know what he does in like daily life or whatever, they're prone to injuring or embarrassing themselves bc they’re flustered. Some he knows are subbed to him and he’s interacted with on his twitter/OF before, but a lot of his followers like to stay anonymous and so he isn’t sure, so he has no idea why they’re so nervous.
For those that don’t know it’s him, they spend quite some time trying to figure out just how they know him. He’s so familiar, and it’s not because he played volleyball with them in highschool, they feel like they know him from somewhere but just can’t figure it out.
