for jimmy kaga-ricci birthday 2024 i have not had the time or energy to write or create anything so instead, i present my chronological iwbft playlist (ft some hypothetical post-canon therapy/recovery vibes)

eye☝️have a bliss lai observation to make.

so bliss comes across as very confident in herself, she's the rock of all the other characters, she's the antithesis to the self-delusion and copium they're all caught in, yeah. she's a grounding force. but she's also eighteen years old, and i'd imagine she has about as much insecurity as anyone that age, she's just better at hiding it/dealing with it.

and so her relationship with rowan gets outed, her life is irreparably changed, she's harrassed by thousands of people online and in real lfe, and it's traumatising. she's out of control. she exerts control in one of the only ways she still can by sticking to her principles and breaking up with rowan.

and she's friends with jimmy, and she's friends with lister (implicitly, less so than jimmy) and i do believe bliss and rowan are very good friends despite the complications of their dating troubles. but her relationship with rowan was her tether to the group, and people always need space after a breakup, and so...

i think bliss would've been anticipating that her time with the ark would come to an end after iwbft. she loves them, they love her, but without the obligations of being in a relationship i think she'd expect them to stop making an effort to see her and they'd just drift.

which is sad. so, i think they should all be in each other's lives forever. the ark have their fucked-up life of rockstar fame and then their best friend that they always come home to is this random girl from london. the same way bicci need rowan to stop their tumultuous relationship from causing the heat death of the band, they all need bliss as their tie to normalcy.

and i think it'd be nice for her. against all odds, the messy relationship she had and the boyband she hung out with as a teenager end up being lifelong best friends of hers.

Chapter One Thoughts:

Angel and Juliet are soooo QPR-coded. Not yet, obviously, but you can see it (Angel refers to Juliet as her soulmate on the second page). They still have a lot of growing to do, mostly communication. Juliet hides a lot from Angel, notably Mac in this chapter, (not intentionally but that's just not something you forget girly) but she just doesn't give much of herself away. Angel also hides a lot of her emotions from Juliet and lies about what she is thinking and feeling to try not to come across as awkward or too much

Angel is THE most autistic-coded Osemanverse character (Sorry Aled Last)

Angel's mummy issues are so !!! shes so 18-year-old girl

Also her relationship with school and her peers - a lot of it needs to be on her terms or she just can't deal with it, like she can't talk to people unless its about the ark (special interest) and she actively does not want to go to her school leavers to say goodbye to people (I'm assuming she has little to no close friends at school or irl) and this is just me saying AGAIN Fereshteh "Angel"Rahimi is autistic :)
