I am going to say this one time and one time only (that is probably a lie I'm really fucking mad).

If the character is canonically transgender, and you write them as cis for whatever reason, be it the plot, the ship, or whatever else, it. Is. Transphobic.

I was looking for an IWBFT fic, and in the tags of one, I see "nontrans Jimmy Kaga Ricci". What the fuck? Being transgender is such a pivotal part of his story, and so so important with the way the world is nowadays. Trans men, and queer people in general are slowly being erased from history and media. What good could it possibly do for your fic to make a canonically transgender character cis?

Furthermore, it was for a smut fic. So that the writer could have a cis gay couple give blowjobs. Looking at it, using tags like "Male Jimmy Kaga-Ricci" as if he wasn't already male, is really the cherry on top. Why?? What could possibly prompt that tag??

I don't care if anyone who reads this thinks I'm overreacting. And if you're reading this and think that doing this isn't transphobic, I'm not sure I want you on my blog.

head cannons abt angel/juliet/bliss post cannon? with angel in uni, juliet officially perusing technical theatre and dealing with the fallout from her parents, and bliss trying to return to an anonymous life that doesn’t really exist for her anymore- i feel like there’s a lot there. also how much do you think each of them keep in contact with the others/ as a group?

For starters I think they all stay friends and get way closer and have group chat with a name poking fun at The Ark fandom like “jowan believers” or something silly like that. Rowan learns about it and hates it.

For Angel, I think she stays in contact with Jimmy but they don’t talk frequently, they just keep up with each other. I think she pursues band management and loves it and she’s good at it. I think she starts using she/they pronouns and realizes they’re aroace.

I don’t really know for Juliet. Her and Angel are obviously still friends and closer after the book, she becomes good friends with Bliss and I think she has a crush on Bliss for a while and she’s the one who makes her realize she’s bi or a lesbian (not sure).

Bliss! I’ve been thinking about her. I think she has an awful time settling back into normal life, not because she got used to or enjoyed being in the spotlight, but because The Ark fandom just will not leave her alone online or irl. I do think her and Rowan remain friends but it takes some time and they don’t really talk immediately after so Bliss talks to Angel and Juliet about it and also starts taking to Lister more to her own surprise. After a year her life goes back to almost how it was before and she’s so happy to have her life back. She still has considerably more twitter followers than before everyone knew she and Rowan dated but most of the fans who were awful to her have unfollowed or she has them blocked. And I don’t think Bliss would really want to share this much online and I don’t think the boys would be super comfortable with her doing this but I just thought of how funny it would be if Bliss posted a multi part tiktok series called like “I dated Rowan Omondi and all I got was told to kms” that’s a bit wordy but come onnn it’s funnyyyyy. Alt name “dating band boy (gone wrong?)”

I love Bliss very much she’s the coolest to ever live and she deserves a fellow bad bitch. Tacking on a last thought I think Bliss dates a girl after Rowan
