summary: After a night out at Scandals spent trying to get under Kurt's skin and win Blaine over, Sebastian realizes their relationship may not be as perfect as it seems from the outside. Sebastian is the last person Kurt expected to give him the push he needed to leave Blaine. He's also the last person he expected to call a friend, and he's definitely the last person he expected to fall for. They walk a careful line between just friends and more than that, until a single kiss changes everything, putting them on a difficult path of learning how to love each other.

No but I literally had to go back to find what scene this actually was because I FORGOT and seriously how cool is it that something that has apparently stuck with you so much is something that wasn't even really on my radar?? (I did go back and reread the whole chapter though and like yeah I get it. Great scene if I do say so myself lmao)

Fandom: Glee Pairings: Kurt Hummel/Sebastian Smythe Rating: E Word Count: 2063 Summary: Kurt and Sebastian share their first time together. A one-shot sequel to It Was Only A Kiss, written for @kurtbastianarchive’s “The First Time” Anniversary Event 2022.

I'm so excited to have FINALLY written this scene in this 'verse. It's something I've wanted to write for a long time, and I'm very happy to finally be able to share it with you now!

I've seen this on my dash a few times now from different people and it's such a lovely idea!! I love seeing people talk about their own writing, it's so fun and positive and wholesome :)

Also this is... a lot harder than I thought it would be lol. I've written quite a bit over the past few years, and I'm usually pretty happy with just about anything that I write, so it's difficult to pick a top 5. But I guess, if I had to, I'd say:

It Was Only A Kiss (Kurtbastian). This is my biggest fic, and it was such an undertaking and I'm really just so proud of myself for finishing it. And the reception it got by the fandom was just so so phenomenal, I can't believe how supportive and enthusiastic so many people were about it.

Echoes of You (Klaine/Kurtbastian). This is still a WIP, but I'm pretty proud of a lot of what I've written so far. I've definitely made myself cry at least once while working on this. It's been slow going lately, so if anyone is reading I apologize, but I really want to make sure I do it justice.

He Forgets Me, He Forgets Me Not (Klaine). This fic, and the whole series, is really quite different to everything else I've ever written. It's also really, really personal to me, and I think maybe that's why it makes the list. It's angst, but a different kind of angst to what I usually write, and the verse as a whole has been an important outlet for me.

Keep It Simple (Klaine). This is just a sweet little Klaine proposal fic, and in my opinion it's also not really typical of what I usually write, but I just love the idea of a future!Klaine where this proposal happens, and I don't know. I think it's just a cute glimpse into their lives and I'm really glad I could put that into the world.

Note of an Old Mistake (Kurtbastian). I kind of just feel like this is a classic "me" fic? it's got angst, it's got smut, what else could you want? It's also my most popular one-shot, so it seems like other people appreciate it as well haha.

I would also love to encourage anybody who maybe hasn't received this ask yet to go ahead and make a list of your 5 favourites and post it! Feel free to say I tagged you. I just think this is such a great idea and I'd love to see what people are particularly proud of :)
