One of my all-time favvy favs, “I Work at a Public Library” was an off the cuff grab at the Library of Congress’ gift shop in DC. Parts of it are absolutely hysterical and it’s such a swift, forward moving little read. It’s a collection of conversations that library clerks have had with customers, some of which are zany and gut-busting.
